The Tribo-Electric media, composed of hydrophobic co-polymer micro-fibers, ensures the filter does not absorb moisture and prevents the growth and spread of harmful contaminants. To enhance durability, the pleated media is laminated to a recyclable, galvanized, and corrosion-resistant metal backing.

Tested by an independent lab according to ASHRAE Standard 52.2, this filter has been rated to perform at the Minimum Efficiency Reporting Value of 11 (MERV 11). The high-performance filter is capable of capturing up to 94% or more of airborne contaminants, including dust, lint, dust mite debris, cement dust, lead dust, standing dust, small fibers, pet dander, and other airborne particles.
